The spectator can check that the dice is too large to rotate inside the box. Viewers are also welcome to investigate the whole thing. Although the cube is freely movable, its position cannot be changed. The performer takes the box and asks a spectator to name a number from one to six. He shakes the box briefly and the dice now points upwards with the number mentioned. Everything can be examined again
