Both the battery and the memory card can be swapped with the grip in place. Additionally, a tripod screw hole can be placed in the center of the optical axis. The base is equipped with a 38mm width arca style plate, allowing use as a quick shoe mount when using a dovetail groove tripod or arca style pedestal.
