Description

It's named to a TH Ross

But it was the British and the heyday of the Royal Navy which really made the peacoat synonymous with the sea

These replaced the WW2 era N4 olive deck jackets and retain a lot of the same design

and maybe the most desirable Nike print

5" x 3 1/4"

Sears Simpson Wearmaster Early 50s Chore Jacket It's named to a THA super cool, and really rather rare early 50s Sears Simpson chore. Look twice and you'd think this was a WW2 chore with three pockets, and four wreath buttons, but this is from the early 1950s. In 1952 Sears partnered with Canadian brand Simpson to access the Canadian market. I suspect this is from the very early years of that partnership, a US made chore, sold in Canada. A super nerdy piece of denim that looks remarkably like a much earlier jacket.
