Blackcurrant 'Magnus' alocasia Dracaena warneckiiThis is one of the main commercial varieties to be grown in New Zealand. They are hardy with an upright growth habit. Produces heavy crops of large fruit that are rich in Vitamin C which are perfect for making desserts and jams. Best grown in a suuny position where soils are fertile, receive plenty of water during the Summer and are free draining. Fruit are ready to harvest from December to February. May grow to between 1. 5m and 2m in height.
