There are very large plantings in Catalunya, due to the fact that it has a big part in Cava (blended with parellada and xarello). Vina Olabarri's Blanco Viura has fragrant apples and honey on the nose, leading into spicy, gingery flavours in the mouth. Initially it seems rich but finishes with an ultra fresh, tangy kick.
