The upper has two antique brass ski hooks and an air cord apron seam, whereby the leather is moulded over a cord and stitched. This gives the traditional apron detailing, whilst retaining all of the benefits of a whole piece of leather. The apron then extends to a bellows tongue, sealing the facings. Inside, there is a full leather lining and insole, and a padded collar.
